so it's been awhile...

Hi all, long time no blog...things have been crazy busy since my last blog...i FINALLY graduated...and while that weekend should have been the best weekend ever...it sucked...i had to go to the emergency room due to a severe ear infection that caused my ear to swell shut, we spent our date night there and i had to back every 8 hours for antibiotics...it sucked...and then we have to spend the rest of our time packing for B.C. Initially we were supposed to drive with my MIL here but the family was worried about her driving, so the hubby, kid, and i took a greyhound...after a horrible 22 hours we got to our destination and a friend drove us to our new house just to see the outside since we still had 2 days until we got possession...the previous owner was here "cleaning" so he let us take a quick tour...and i was appalled it was the dirtiest nastiest place i have ever seen...seriously it was gross, and to top it off it smelled of dog shit and piss...so awesome...and the realtor lied about so many things we could potentially take her to court for misrepresentation...so for the first 7 days we cleaned and ripped out carpet and painted...now i knew i would eventually renovate certain things but this was so bad it could not wait hopefully by the end of summer we will be done...but it was a nightmare when we first arrived...but luckily for us, we love it here...until next time, cheers, Natasha

my newest obsession...

so since we are moving to B.C. very very very soon we have been in the process of getting rid of the things but it seems for everything i get rid of i found something new i.e  these lovely blue-ish vases that i got for free...does happy dance

and i also got this for free...so excited...we do plan to paint it and change out the hardware but yay free!!!!

also have i mentioned how much 3 sucks...seriously the attitude and the bossy little tyrant that has emerged sucks...but sometimes there are awesome moments that make me laugh so hard...but some days i wish i could have some alcohol attached via i.v

39 days and counting...

so we have 39 days until we move 2 provinces away and to a new life...i must say as each day goes by i get more and more excited and more and more nervous/anxious...i am excited to see what this change will bring us, but i am really going to miss my friends here...i suck at making new friends, i am usually pretty quiet at first...which usually is mistaken for shyness, but i like to read a situation and analyze things before i speak up...i am passionate about my beliefs and really do not mind debating them if i need to, but i am a big believer in first impressions and sometimes the first impression i get is not a comfortable one...oh well we will see what happens...so the countdown is on...make sure you come by to say goodbye before we leave!!!

this is currently Liam's favorite insult at the moment...sometimes a spider gets changed for a fox...he thinks he is hilarious, and well he is, lol...this is what we did this week...

so it looks like the big move to B.C. happens at the end of June...I am sooooooo excited and soooooo nervous...2012 is going to be a big year for us...I am graduating, we are moving, and we have decided to try for another kid...i mean why not add to the awesomeness that is our family, lol...

this past week we took Liam to the park and within 5 minutes it was full on storming...but unlike the rest of the people there we stayed right until it started to hail...Liam loves playing in the rain, even if it is chilly out...he actually cried when we had to leave...it was so much fun

also this week one liam's best little friend (i maintain i am his bestest best friend right now) came over for the afternoon while his parents and brother had to go to the hospital...liam had so much fun and they held hands and ran through a field and played at the park, then had lunch, watched a movie and cuddled on the couch...they were so silly...it's neat to see how young children have no biases against cuddling and kissing each other...and how its fun to hold hands and run and jump...so cute...we will miss these types of afternoons when we move...

this weekend it is supposed to rain the whole time...nothing like a flea market to make things better...hopefully we find some good stuff...have a great weekend, cheers, Natasha

perfect days...

so finally the weather is cooperating with us which meant a lot of outside time this past weekend...only our weekend was sunday and monday...on sunday we spent the day with my mother in law and her friends and that evening a really good friend of mine came over and gave a liam a surprise late birthday present...but the best day was monday...we went to the park and for a nice long walk twice...Brad and i spent the afternoon sitting on our deck and seriously it was one of the best days ever...lots of sun (i already have quite the sunburn), lots of family time and lots of fun...how was your weekend?

3 sucks...

...there I said it...wow does 3 make 2 look like fun...seriously, the attitude rivals that of a 15 year old girl...but at the same time it kind of rocks...Liam talks so much and wants to know everything, he is currently learning how to tell time...he is obsessed with clocks, always has been, but now he wants to know what time it is all the time...so funny

last weekend we had his 3rd birthday party...and he had so much fun, his 2 little best friends came over and they played and had fun, there was lots of candy, and cupcakes...a couple of meltdowns, especially when we sang happy birthday to him, he is not a fan of being the center of attention..he was spoiled, but that's ok he is only 3 once, lol

this past week our entire house was hit with the flu/the worst cold ever...we are all still feeling it, i got it the worst, as per usual, and it is no fun having to play with a 3 year old when all you want to do is sleep/vomit...it hit liam first he got a really bad fever and then a cough and then i was feeling fine and bam started to get violently sick...i feel ok now, mostly thanks to my husband who took care of liam saturday so I could sleep all day...:)
